Pakistan captain Babar Azam reached the milestone of 10,000 runs in international cricket against Sri Lanka at Galle. He became part of the ten thousand club on the second day of the first Test at Galle.
Babar crossed the milestone of 10,000 runs in just 228 innings. He touched this milestone as the 88th cricketer overall.
However, in terms of innings, Babar’s position is at number 5 in the list of fastest cricketers to enter the 10,000 club.
Sir Vivian Richards of West Indies completed 10,000 runs in international cricket in 206 innings.
