Skip the wait to download Windows 11 with this workaround

Microsoft recently released Windows 11, their new operating system. The release was met with mixed reviews, but one thing is certain Windows 11 has a lot of new features that are worth checking out. Unfortunately, the wait to download the full version is excruciatingly long for most people! Luckily there are some workarounds you can use while waiting on your turn to download this innovative OS.

One of the most used Windows 11 features is the all-new virtual desktops that allow users to more efficiently manage their work. If you want to access your desktop remotely, then TeamViewer is an excellent choice. TeamViewer is a great tool for accessing your computer remotely, but it also has some features for connecting with several computers at once. For example, you can have a TeamViewer session with two or more of your own computers, this is very useful if you need to use both at the same time.

The feature would be similar to having a dual monitor setup but for multiple computers. For instance, you could connect your Windows 11 computer and access its desktop, then connect to your Windows XP computer and access that desktop too. You can display both desktops on one monitor or use two different monitors depending on what you need.

TeamViewer does offer a free version but it is limited in function, meaning that it will not allow you to access more than one of your own computers at the same time. If you want to access more than one computer at the same time, then you will need to download TeamViewer Premium.

TeamViewer can be downloaded from their official website. Once you download the setup file, just run it and follow the instructions to install TeamViewer on your computer.

After installation is complete, close the program and launch it again as an administrator

Go to General on left panel and click on Advanced

Check the Enable multi-monitor support and Multi-Monitor Support for Admin Console incl. Full Screen Mode options

Now you can launch the program and connect to your other computers as usual, but this time you will be able to connect up to 3 of them at once. If you want to connect more than 3 computers at the same time, you will need to upgrade to TeamViewer Premium.
