On the other hand, in the women’s division, Bangladesh lost to Turkey by 1-3 game points in this round.
In the women’s category, only female fide master Najrana
Khan Eva lost to female fide master Kosaigit Buse Naj for Bangladesh
Women’s International Master Sharmin Sultana Shirin, Women’s Fide Master Noshin Anjum and Women’s
Candidate Master Jannatul Ferdous lost to International Master Atalik Ekaterina,
Women’s Fide Master Akuaz Duru and Women’s Candidate Master Anur Sigdem respectively.
The women’s team is ranked 71st with eight points from eight games.
Host India is on top with 15 points from 8 matches.
Bangladesh will play against Iceland in the open division in the ninth round game on Sunday.
And Bangladesh will face Iraq in women’s category.
