Apple announced the Watch Series 8

Tech lovers were waiting around Apple’s annual event today, September 7. Apple CEO Tim Cook opened the ‘Farout’ event held at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park, California, USA. At the beginning, Apple’s announcement of the Watch Series 8 with a temperature sensor has come as a surprise.

Apple CEO Jeff Williams said the new smartwatch will be called Series 8. It is more durable than previous smartwatch versions. It will have the facility to measure body temperature. It comes in four colors. They are available in black, gold, gray and red colors. The aluminum model will be priced at $399, while the cellular version will be priced at $499.

Apple says the smartwatch is designed to keep data secure and private. Health information will not be shared with anyone without the user’s permission. Apple has also added a new security feature powered by two motion sensors. It also has the facility to detect car accidents or quickly automatically call emergency services.

The battery life of this Apple Watch with always-on display is 18 hours. It can be extended up to 36 hours by activating the special mode.
