Aadmi Party protests over BJP’s ‘Operation Lotus’, demands CBI investigation

BJP’s political conflict with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has taken a new turn. AAP alleges that the BJP is influencing the government of the opposition in various states. Apart from this, they are forming their own government by breaking the opposition party legislators. The Aam Aadmi Party has demanded an investigation by the Central Intelligence Agency (CBI) of India in this incident.
10 UP MLAs from Delhi went to meet the CBI Director General at the CBI headquarters on Wednesday. They have spent 6,300 crore rupees to build their own government in each state. We want CBI to investigate against BJP. Come to the CBI office with that demand.

According to this plan, BJP has already captured the government in Arunachal, Meghalaya, Manipur, Goa, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. In Rajasthan, the Congress Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has thwarted that plan of the BJP. BJP’s ‘Operation Lotus’ came to a halt as three Congress MLAs from Jharkhand were caught in West Bengal with money. Realizing that the BJP is going to capture Bihar by breaking the United Janata Dal (JDU) MLAs, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar left the BJP and joined hands with the RJD to form an alternative government. AAP leaders alleged that BJP failed in Bihar and focused on Delhi.

The conflict has been intensifying recently over the Delhi government’s new excise policy. The CBI has initiated an investigation against the UP leadership for alleged corruption. The Chief Minister has directly complained about trying to buy MLAs. AAP’s new complaint against Lt. Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena.Vinay Kumar Saxena is denying this allegation. He said on Wednesday that he would take legal action against the four UP MLAs for making false and insulting comments.

Sitting on a dharna in front of the CBI office, UP MLA Atishi said on Wednesday that it is his duty as the head of the agency to meet the elected representatives and listen to their demands. He said that in the rush to form the government, BJP has left the common people of the country in a miserable condition. By increasing the price of petro products, they are using the money to buy and sell MLAs.

The BJP dismissed the allegations of AAP leaders.
